Zaplix IPTV Player (com.dopamingaming.zaplix) — Effective date: 27 July 2026

Summary

• Zaplix plays without an account; signing in is optional. Sync, backup and Premium are tied to an account.
• Your IPTV credentials and playlists are never stored on our servers.
• On the free plan we show ads on Android phones/tablets and iPhone/iPad only — never on Android TV, on Windows, or during playback. Premium removes them.
• We use no analytics or tracking SDKs and never sell data.

Data stored only on your device

• Playlist definitions (Xtream Codes server, username; M3U URLs or files; LAN sources).
• Xtream passwords and LAN pairing tokens — kept in the operating system's secure storage (Android Keystore / Windows DPAPI).
• Cached channel/movie/series catalogs and the TV guide, and app settings.
• Your OpenSubtitles password, if you use that account. It is never uploaded or synced; you enter it once per device.

If you sign in (optional)

Accounts use Google Firebase Authentication (email/password or Google sign-in). While signed in, the following is stored in our Firebase Firestore database, readable only by your own account:

• Favorites, watch positions/history and category preferences (names and internal identifiers only — no stream URLs or credentials).
• App settings: theme, icon pack, language, preferred audio/subtitle languages, subtitle style, sort order, and — if you provide them — your personal TMDB API key and your OpenSubtitles username. The matching OpenSubtitles password stays on your device.
• Your parental PIN, stored only as a salted PBKDF2 hash so the lock works on all your devices while neither we nor anyone reading the database can recover the PIN itself.
• Your Premium entitlement and the Google Play purchase token used to verify it.

Advertising

On the free plan Zaplix shows Google AdMob ads — a banner above the navigation bar and occasional full-screen ads when opening a title — on Android phones/tablets and iPhone/iPad only. There are no ads on Android TV, on the Windows build, or on the player screen. AdMob processes data such as the advertising ID and device information under its own policy; the consent screen shown at first launch lets you refuse personalised ads. Google Drive backup (optional)

If you sign in with Google and enable Drive backup, Zaplix requests the drive.appdata permission. This grants access only to a hidden, app-private folder in your own Google Drive — Zaplix cannot see your other Drive files. The app stores a single backup file there containing your playlist definitions, including Xtream passwords, so your other devices can restore them. This design exists precisely so that your IPTV credentials stay under your control, in your storage — never on servers we operate. You can revoke this permission at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Signing a TV in from your phone (optional)

You can sign a TV in to your account by scanning the QR code it shows, and optionally send your playlist definitions (including Xtream passwords) to that TV in the same step. This transfer is end-to-end encrypted: the encryption key is generated on the TV and travels only inside the QR code on its screen — it never reaches our servers. Our server relays only the encrypted package, cannot read it, and deletes it the moment the TV picks it up (or within minutes if it doesn't). Nothing from this transfer is retained; sending playlists is a separate, clearly-labelled choice you can untick.

Third-party services

• Firebase Authentication / Firestore (Google) — sign-in and the sync data listed above. Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Drive API — only when you enable playlist backup, limited to the app-data folder.
• TMDB — only if you enable it with your own API key; movie/series titles are sent to TMDB to fetch posters and metadata. Zaplix is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
• Google AdMob — ads on phones and tablets only, on the free plan.
• Google Play Billing — verifying the one-time Premium purchase.
• OpenSubtitles — subtitle search and download, optionally with your own account.
• Your IPTV provider — streams and guide data are fetched directly from the servers configured in your playlists; we are not a party to that traffic.

Account & data deletion

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and everything listed above from our database, immediately.

By email: write to gamingdopamin@gmail.com from the account's address — we delete it within 30 days. Nothing is retained afterwards except purchase records Google Play keeps for legal reasons.

Signing out stops all syncing; local data can be removed by deleting playlists or uninstalling the app. The Drive backup lives in your own Google Drive and can be removed at drive.google.com (hidden app data) or by revoking the app's access.

Children

Zaplix is not directed at children under 13 and provides no content of its own.

• Ebeveyn PIN'iniz, yalnızca tuzlanmış PBKDF2 özeti olarak. Böylece kilit tüm cihazlarınızda çalışır, ama ne biz ne de veritabanını okuyan biri PIN'in kendisini geri elde edemez.
• Premium hakkınız ve bunu doğrulamak için kullanılan Google Play satın alma jetonu.

Reklamlar

Ücretsiz planda Zaplix, Google AdMob reklamları gösterir — gezinme çubuğunun üzerinde bir banner ve bir içerik açılırken ara sıra tam ekran reklam — yalnızca Android telefon/tablet ve iPhone/iPad'de. Android TV'de, Windows sürümünde ve oynatıcı ekranında reklam yoktur. AdMob, reklam kimliği ve cihaz bilgisi gibi verileri kendi politikası uyarınca işler; ilk açılışta gösterilen izin ekranından kişiselleştirilmiş reklamları reddedebilirsiniz. Premium satın aldığınızda reklamlar tamamen kapanır.

Google Drive yedeği (isteğe bağlı)

Google ile giriş yapıp Drive yedeklemeyi etkinleştirirseniz Zaplix drive.appdata izni ister. Bu izin yalnızca kendi Google Drive'ınızdaki gizli, uygulamaya özel klasöre erişim verir — Zaplix diğer Drive dosyalarınızı göremez. Oraya, diğer cihazlarınızın geri yükleyebilmesi için Xtream şifreleri dahil playlist tanımlarınızı içeren tek bir yedek dosyası yazılır. Bu tasarımın amacı tam olarak şudur: IPTV kimlik bilgileriniz bizim işlettiğimiz sunucularda değil, sizin kontrolünüzde, sizin depolamanızda kalır. İzni dilediğiniz an myaccount.google.com/permissions adresinden kaldırabilirsiniz.

TV'de telefonla oturum açma (isteğe bağlı)

Bir TV'yi, ekranında gösterdiği QR kodu telefonunuzla okutarak hesabınıza bağlayabilir ve aynı adımda playlist tanımlarınızı (Xtream şifreleri dahil) o TV'ye gönderebilirsiniz. Bu aktarım uçtan uca şifrelidir: şifreleme anahtarı TV'de üretilir ve yalnızca ekrandaki QR kodun içinde yolculuk eder — sunucularımıza hiçbir zaman ulaşmaz. Sunucumuz yalnızca okuyamadığı şifreli paketi iletir; TV paketi teslim aldığı anda (alınmazsa dakikalar içinde) paket silinir. Bu aktarımdan hiçbir şey saklanmaz; playlist gönderimi, işaretini kaldırabileceğiniz ayrı ve açık bir seçenektir.

Hesap ve veri silme

Uygulama içinden: Ayarlar → Hesap → Hesabı sil. Bu işlem hesabınızı ve yukarıda sayılan her şeyi veritabanımızdan anında ve kalıcı olarak siler.

E-posta ile: hesabın e-posta adresinden gamingdopamin@gmail.com adresine yazın — 30 gün içinde sileriz. Sonrasında, Google Play'in yasal olarak tuttuğu satın alma kayıtları dışında hiçbir veri saklanmaz.

Çıkış yapmak tüm eşitlemeyi durdurur; yerel veriler playlistleri silerek veya uygulamayı kaldırarak temizlenir. Drive yedeği kendi Drive'ınızdadır; uygulamanın erişimini kaldırarak ya da Drive gizli uygulama verilerinden silebilirsiniz.
